This 2 hour 1-2-1 session is conducted on zoom and is suitable for:

Driving Test Nerves | Driving Anxiety | All fears and Phobias | Performance Anxiety | Exam Nerves

Driving Test Nerves – if the thought of the driving test fills you with dread, and you have sleepless nights worrying about it, then this session is for you. The techniques you will learn in just two hours will give you control over your emotions, rather than them controlling you, so you can drive on test like you do on lessons.

Driving Anxiety: whether you’re a learner driver and dread every lesson, or been driving for a while but the thought of motorways, dual carriageways, country lanes, parking in busy areas is a scary prospect for you, then this session will take away your fears allowing you to enjoy your driving.

Fears & Phobias: would you like to be free of your fear or phobia? From fear of flying through to fear of spiders, many people are controlled by their fears and phobias. During this session you will learn techniques to rid your of your fears, giving you back control.

Performance Anxiety: whether you hate public speaking and interviews, or are experiencing wedding day nerves, or even karaoke, how would you like to conquer your performance nerves? This session will enable you to do just that.

Exam Nerves: You may have studied hard, know your material inside out, but if nerves take over during your exam, you experience ‘brain fog’ and your mind goes blank, then this may mean you don’t get the results you were hoping for. If you would like to take your exam feeling calm, relaxed and confident in your ability, then this is the session for you!

    OMG how can one woman make you feel so good about yourself ! After a session with Diane my confidence level and understanding on how a negative mindset can impact experiences is so true. Before my test I done all the breathing exercises and the 2 minute tapping technique changed my life.     I struggled with driving anxiety for 8 years, which began on the motorway with a panic attack. Eventually, this morphed into new anxieties, which I experienced every time I got into the car to go anywhere, and inevitably began to seep in other aspects, which affected of my daily life. Before meeting Chris and Diane, I had explored the usual avenues: psychotherapist, talking therapy, a mindful driving course, a course in driving anxiety, EMDR, even normal driving lessons… needless to say, I was about to give up. I was untreatable. Nothing had made any difference at all. I felt so low, so useless, so despondent and disillusioned with all time and money I had spent, whilst getting no further forward. A friend of the family reached out in her local community and explained what I had been going through and asked if anyone knew of anybody who could help me. Chris and Diane’s names were given to her from a few driving instructors, who described them as “the best in the business”. Obviously, I felt wary: let’s face it, there was nothing I hadn’t tried and all had failed! But, as my mental health began to decline, I decided to reach out to Diane and Chris as a last resort. Diane and Chris called me straight away and made me feel at ease immediately. I explained my history and the issues I was suffering from, as well as my belief that I was untreatable – and they were still positive they could help. So, what did I have to lose? I began sessions with Chris imminently. We went through the ABC technique, box breathing, belly breathing, calming the chimp (you will have to ask Chris about that one!), just to mention a few. On Friday, I drove 55 miles each way to collect my son from his grandparents’. I didn’t know if it was going to be possible! But I was going to try! I followed the steps Chris had gone through with me, and I made it! No pulling over, no hyperventilating, no arguments in my head – I couldn’t believe it! I was jubilant! And to see the look of pride on my 10 year-old’s face was truly magical. I am going to repeat the journey this week and my next step is to conquer the motorway. Without Chris’ help and guidance, I would never have achieved this – in fact, I think I would have sold my car by now and surrendered to the anxiety. I am still a work in progress, but I can feel the burden lifting and I feel lighter, freer. And with Chris’ continued patience and unstinting belief in me, long may this continue!

    I was recommended Diane’s service by my driving instructor, as my anxiety was getting in the way of progressing with lessons. Diane and her partner Chris were lovely to chat to – so understanding and hugely knowledgeable about anxiety and where it stems from. I did a session with Diane where we went through certain techniques to manage the anxiety. I couldn’t believe how well it worked! The TFT Diane teaches is very transferable and will work for other aspects of life as well as driving anxiety. Wish I’d found out about it long ago!     I really enjoyed this. I was anxious for it at first but as soon as I started talking to Diane I felt at ease. After she showed me some techniques we could do to help i honestly had to take a moment after as it just calmed me down very quickly. I said “this is what I can imagine being high is like” just calm with no worries. It’s hard to explain but I think it’s definitely worth it. The other way I can explain how this made me feel was when you are in a swimming pool and your laid on your back and it’s very noice. It’s feels like when you put your ears under the water and all of a sudden all the noise just floats away.

    Diane was recommended to me by my driving instructor, after I had been learning for over a year and failing 1 driving test we realised it was time I needed a different approach and Diane’s services sounded perfect for what I was trying to achieve, we had a zoom call session and very quickly i realised her methods were making a difference to my thought process & my anxiety.     I had a face to face session with Diane as I was a nervous wreck on my driving lessons, I couldn’t even imagine taking my test! Diane managed to change my mindset and equipped me with the skills to control my anxiety. I passed my test on the first attempt, I can’t recommend this therapy enough. The TFT is mindblowing, I used this technique before my lessons and several on the evening before my test. Even though I started my test feeling anxious, a couple of minutes into it I’d managed to control my chimp (Ricky!) And perform the breathing exercises I’d been taught…..the rest was a breeze! I will continue to use the TFT in my day to day life, it’s a game changer. Diane is so easy to work with, she really understood my emotions and we had some laughs during the 1 to 1 session. The online course was given to me as part of the package, it’s easy to use and contains everything you need to do to control your nerves. I’m so happy I did this, I’m a completely different driver than I was a couple of months ago. Diane is amazing!

    I didn’t know what to expect before I spoke to Diane and I did not have any confidence in myself! I failed my test a few times, after speaking to Diane and doing the techniques genuinely changed everything. Diane was so lovely and so easy to talk to and she understood and really dug deep and helped. I didn’t realise how much my nerves got in the way until I spoke to Diane. She was lovely enough to speak to me and guide me through just before my test this morning as well which I feel is the reason I sailed through and felt at ease and passed!!!!

    Having previously passed my car test first time I was having some issues passing my HGV test. I had failed five times by the time I was referred to Diane, following therapy with Diane I passed with a clean sheet! From the initial consultation call, to the therapy session and follow ups Diane has been amazing to work with, so relaxed and approachable yet with a huge reserve of knowledge and experience. She helped me with techniques to change mindset, for suppressing nervous thoughts with logic, and with thought field therapy (derived from acupuncture) to relieve negative past experiences.     Diane’s work is a real game changer. I went into this hoping for the best but being a bit skeptical because I’ve suffered bad anxiety with driving for the entire time I’ve been learning & I was under the impression it wasn’t fixable. Whenever someone simply mentioned a driving test I’d freeze. After the one to one session with Diane the anxiety is nowhere near as high on lessons and I’m not scared of my upcoming driving test anymore. Diane changed the way my brain thinks about lessons and the driving test. I learned so much about why I think the way I think and now I have some amazing techniques to make sure that I don’t get consumed by my Chimp’s negativity.

    After one driving lesson since the session, I noticed a drastic change in how I feel about driving, the anxiety leading up to and then the nerves whilst actually driving and doing manoeuvres which had always been a huge stress in my head beforehand.

    Diane changed the way my brain processes emotions with every day situations, including driving which has changed so much in a short space of time and I know it can only get better in time with practice.

    Genuinely couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the session with Diane. She’s so friendly and easy going, put me at ease straight away and the session was so informative and most of all so beneficial start to finish, especially with the techniques being transferable to every aspect of life, not just limited to driving. But it makes a massive difference to driving / rest nerves and anxiety

    I was recommended Diane after I failed my driving test due to my nerves. Having autism definitely increased my nerves, so I really needed some help. I immediately felt comfortable with Diane when I called to enquire about what options were available for me. I decided to go for the one-to-one session so it was all tailored to me.     I completed the one to one therapy session with Diane because I suffer badly with nerves in test environments. I had previously failed 5 tests. The thought of having to go through that completely and utterly terrified me. Part of me didn’t want to give up hope though after all the money I invested in lessons.
    So I wasn’t really sure what to expect as I’ve never received therapy before.
    Immediately I felt at ease. Diane is so lovely and very easy to talk to. It was like speaking to one my friends. The sessions was highly affective and it not only helped with my confidence in my driving but it completely changed my life.
    My chimp negative Nora had a habit of taking over my thoughts and dominently had a very negative outlook on life . I walked away from that session feeling like a new positive person. It has literally been life changing for me.
    Diane is very passionate about what she does and this isn’t just a job for her. Her passion is to genuinely help people overcome their fear and anxieties.
    Today, I had my driving test & Diane kindly schedule in a call to help me with my nerves & today I passed.
