More info: Hi, I’m Jim and owner of Jim Smith Driving School. I cover the areas listed above. I am a fully-qualified approved driving instructor (ADI), which means I am:
• DBS checked
• DVSA approved
• Grade A instructor
• Completed a Diploma in Driver Education
• Formerly a traffic Police Officer with Police Scotland, as a PC, SGT and INSP, having completed my advanced driving course, skid correction training, LGV training, motorcycle training, off road training and a senior investigating officer course.
Learning to drive can be intimidating to start with, a new experience with someone you have never met before. I can help put you at your ease and take you through every stage, until you are confident enough to take your driving test.
Hi Jim. My son has been learning to drive in an automatic car for the last 2 years. He has failed 2 tests within this time, one recently, which was very close to a pass. Looking for lessons before his currently booked new test in December if possible as his current instructor has changed profession. Thank you.
